EUGENE — Oregon formally announced the signing of Syracuse transfer Quincy Guerrier.
The 6-foot-7 forward was a third-team all-ACC selection last season while averaging 13.7 points and 8.4 rebounds and shooting 49.3 percent from the floor.
“We are excited to bring Quincy into our program,” Oregon coach Dana Altman said in a statement. “He is a physical player and his versatility offensively will allow him to play a number of different positions for us. I also love what he’ll give us defensively and on the boards. I think he has a very bright future and we’re looking forward to working with him.”
Guerrier has 11 career double-doubles and had at least one block in 18 games last season.
The Montreal, Quebec, native averaged 6.9 points and 5.3 rebounds as a freshman in 2019-20.
