Kansas men’s basketball infractions case IARP timeline released

LAWRENCE — Kansas Jayhawks fans can now learn more about what’s transpired in the investigation concerning University of Kansas Athletics.

The Independent Accountability Resolution Process case timelines, which include not just Kansas’ but five other institutions as well, were published Monday on the IARP website. The other five are the University of Arizona, University of Louisville, University of Memphis, North Carolina State University and Louisiana State University. The timelines are a result of an effort to provide more transparency to the process, with that move being adopted in August by the Division I Board of Directors.

Kansas’ case includes five allegations of Level I rules violations. The case, which alleges head coach responsibility and a lack of institutional control with the men’s basketball program, also involves the football program.
