Jake Paul fires another dig at UFC president Dana White with ‘ring girls’ jibe

Jake Paul has continued his verbal feud with UFC President Dana White by claiming that he pays ring girls more than his fighters following a dispute over earnings.

While White has insisted that the YouTuber turned professional boxer will not be fighting in his promotion, he was proved wrong by the recent demolition of former Welterweight Askren.

With Paul then calling for the UFC boss to pay up on his tongue-in-cheek bet of $1million, he has now joked that the fighters inside the brand do not get paid accordingly.

That comes after the 24-year-old had bragged about bringing in 1.5m PPV streams on his Triller event, which is less than only two fights in UFC history.

Paul wrote on Twitter: “Dana White pays his ring girls more than his fighters.”

After White said at the UFC 261 press conference: “He ain’t fighting in the UFC.

“You’re getting me talking about this f****** guy again. He’s getting handpicked opponents and God knows what else is going with that whole f****** thing.

“There is a market for that – that is not what I do.

“That is not what I do. People want to see that and it’s great and this kid is going to make a couple of bucks before this ride is over. It’s just not what I do.”

Speaking to ESPN before UFC 262, White expanded on his thoughts by saying: “First of all, I would never do business with those guys, just no. It’s not what we do.

“I’m not gonna f***** loan them a guy, for f****** what? There’s no way.

“You’ve got plenty of f****** goofballs out there that you can muster up to get in there and play these games that these guys are playing. I’m not your guy.

Adding: “I don’t know if I believe the Ben Askren thing. I have a hard time wrapping my brain around that. But yeah, it’s interesting. To see how long it takes before this kid’s 15 minutes is up.

“But they’re being smart, they’re keeping him away from anybody that could actually really do damage. But the Ben Askren thing still blows my mind.”
