Momentum continues to build for the Kentucky Wildcats in the recruitment of Chris Livingston.
Not long after Kentucky reportedly visited Livingston today — it included John Calipari, Orlando Antigua and Chin Coleman — Joe Tipton reports the top-five recruit will take a second visit to the school, this time on Oct. 9.
While getting two visits from a star recruit is usually a great sign, it will also come just six days before Livingston announces his college choice on Oct. 15. It’s usually best to be the last school a recruit sees, which was also the case with No. 1 overall recruit Shaedon Sharpe, who committed to Kentucky earlier this week.

Ranked as high as No. 4 overall in the 2022 class by 247 Sports, Livingston previously took an official visit to Kentucky in June, and he enjoyed connecting with Calipari.
“Coach Cal is a great guy,” Livingston said of Calipari. “He’s really personable, considering how much of a legend he is and how big his status is in the basketball community and the world. He’s down to earth, easy to talk to, funny and cool. I like him. The coaching staff was nice and welcomed my family.”
Livingston currently holds offers from the Wildcats, Memphis Tigers, North Carolina Tar Heels, Ohio State Buckeyes, Florida Gators and Kansas Jayhawks among others. This is widely believed to be a two-horse race between Kentucky and Memphis. The Wildcats have received every 247 Sports Crystal Ball and Rivals FutureCast prediction logged over the last month.
With Kentucky’s 2022 class already holding pledges from Sharpe and 5-star guard Skyy Clark, a commitment from Livingston would make this class very hard for anyone to topple for the No. 1 ranking.
